My name is Andreas Kropacz, and photography has fascinated me for as long as I can remember.

My fascination began when I was eight years old, inspired by my father and by the magic of analogue photography. As a teenager, I started experimenting with a Canon A-1, capturing everyday scenes, places and unique moments on film.

Life took its own course, and for many years photography faded into the background. Eventually, I rediscovered that fascination — and with it the pleasure of observing more consciously, searching for perspectives, light, structures and those brief moments that are worth preserving.

A photograph captures more than a view.
It preserves the way a moment was seen.
